2026 Summer Club Teams Tryouts
NLB is looking for players who want to play the best teams in the region. We strive to put together high-level rosters of players to challenge themselves locally and regionally against the best programs. Our 2026 teams will provide an experience that will help your child develop at the highest level.

Wednesday August 13th @ ECC Turf - 5701 Normandale Road, Edina MN 55424
12-14u 1:30-3:15
15-16u 3:00-4:30

Tryout Process
At the indoor tryout (at NLB) we will run players through hitting and pitching tryouts. Catchers will be asked to receive some of the pitchers to be assessed.
At the outdoor tryout (ECC Turf) players will be go through fielding, throwing, and running evaluations.
Tryout Timeline
We will do our very best to be as up front as possible to families as soon as we have finished the tryout process. NLB will send out invites to everyone shortly after. We ask parents to confirm they wish to play with NLB as soon as possible following the invite. Once we have established the amount of teams we will have at each age and who has made them then NLB will send out registrations to lock in your acceptance with a deposit payment.
12-14u Team Schedule
- 3+ Out of state tournaments
- 3+ Local tournaments
- Weeknight games against local clubs/associations
- 2+ team practices per week from end of March to end of July
- Discount on Winter Programs and summer hitting
15-16u Team Schedule
- Up to 3 Out of state tournaments
- 2+ Local tournaments
- Weeknight games against local clubs/associations
- 2+ practices per week June-July
- Discount on Winter Programs and summer hitting
The number of out of state tournaments will vary by team (Black, Red, White etc.)
What Is Included In Registration?
- Home and Road Jersey
- Hat
- All tourney fees
- Field and facility rental
- Coaches travel
- Practice shirt and shorts
Frequently Asked Questions
- How many teams per level? At our older ages likely multiple. For 12-14u we anticipate having the numbers for one team
- Where will we practice? Indoor practices at the NLB facility and outdoor practices likely in Edina
- Who are the coaches? Coaches are typically assigned during the winter. Coaches are typically the same coaches who are involved with fall/winter programs.
