NLB Fall Baseball Tryouts

NLB's Fall Ball Program is designed to help players have fun and improve in the game of baseball in the time between their summer seasons and winter activities. Practices and games are run with development at the forefront. Players will have both indoor and outdoor practices throughout the fall with an emphasis on hitting, pitching, fielding, and base running fundamentals.

Tryouts

Tryouts will be held on two different days. The first day is an outside practice tryout to evaluate throwing and fielding. The second day will be indoors to evaluate hitting and pitching.

10-12u from 2:30-4pm on June 24th

13-17u from 2:30-4pm on June 25th

OUTDOOR - @ The ECC turf next to Normandale Elementary School. Address is 5701 Normandale Rd, Edina, MN 55424

10-12u from 12:30-2:00pm June 23rd

13-17u from 2:00-3:30pm June 23rd

Practices

Practice schedule will be 2x per week. Exact times and days of week will be determined at a later date based on coach availability and age.

It will be posted here when that is finalized.

Schedule

We are continuing to use the league model this year for 14u and below. This should reduce the number of weekends (they will still play tournaments) and travel and increase games. Exact dates are not set but it is very likely that 13u and lower will play Tuesday nights and 14u would play Wednesday nights.

Ages

Reminder that for fall baseball you will register for the age you will play next summer. This means if you are playing 9u in the summer of 2026 you will register for 10u fall ball. In some cases (especially for players younger relative to their grade) we recommend playing the same age as they did in the summer.

Referral Policy

Any returning NLB athlete (any player who has done a program or team with NLB in the last twelve months) may refer new players to NLB for $150 off their registration (referral limit is capped at the cost of your registration). To qualify the new player must not have been in an NLB program previously, attend tryouts, be invited to a team, and register for that team.

10-12u

13-14u

Players will practice 2x week

Players will participate in a league (4 weeknight double-headers)

Players will participate in three tournaments

Cost $1,350

15-17u

Players will practice 2x week

Players will participate in four-five tournaments

Cost $1,450-1600 (depending on 4 vs 5 tournaments and if it is a National team or not)
